The Founder

Michael Hall, Executive Director

Over 14 years ago, while working with the Department of Human Services, Michael Hall had a realization that would change the course of his career. He saw firsthand that the system designed to protect families was often doing more harm than good.

There wasn't enough compassion. There wasn't enough empathy. When someone made a mistake, the system treated them as irredeemable rather than as a person deserving of support and a path forward. Sitting in a room with higher-ups, Michael decided he could do better on his own.

That conviction led to the founding of Hallway to Success. The mission is simple but powerful: provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for parents to maintain and strengthen their relationships with their children, even during the most difficult times.

Michael's approach is rooted in strength-based, trauma-informed practices. He believes that every parent has the potential to grow and that every child deserves to feel safe and loved. His work is guided by professional boundaries, non-biased documentation, and a deep commitment to the well-being of every family he serves.

What families say

Trusted by parents navigating real situations

“Michael was a great fit for my family, and I am confident he would suit the needs of any other family. From the very beginning, Michael’s calm demeanor made it easy to relax into the situation. In contrast to other providers I have worked with, Michael is present but not intrusive, kind but not smarmy, and attentive but not overbearing. He is also a very effective communicator. It was a privilege to share my time with my children with someone whom I trusted and respected as much as Michael. He’s the best! You will be happy you chose to work with such a delightful professional.”

Tiger Hatch

“I contacted Michael Hall for professional supervision by phone, and he was very professional from the start. After our first visit, I knew I had made the right decision — he was professional and neutral, and he always gave clear instructions on what to do at the beginning and end of each visit. Very satisfied with the supervisions. Thank you, Michael Hall.”

Delfino Hernandez

“I highly recommend Michael Hall for supervised visitation services. During a very important time in my life, while I was in early recovery, he played a significant role in helping me safely reconnect with my children and rebuild my parental relationship. He was professional, supportive, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process — he set clear expectations, responded promptly, and made sure everyone involved understood the plan. He was also flexible with scheduling, which made a stressful situation much easier to navigate, and his services were affordable without sacrificing quality or professionalism. Most importantly, he created a safe and respectful environment that allowed me to spend meaningful time with my children and begin reestablishing trust and connection with them. I am truly grateful for the support he provided, and I would strongly recommend him to any family in need of supervised visitation services.”
